 Teacher: Tiffany Cooper

My name is Tiffany Cooper, and I am completely thrilled to be starting my 10th year at Annunciation.

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi University for Women in the fall of 2009.   My degree extends to the concentrations of math and English for sixth through twelfth grade. This will be my 14th year teaching. I taught one year in public school and three years at Victory Christian Academy. I have taught many different subjects; however, my true passion is math. I have always enjoyed this subject, and I very much enjoy teaching it. Hopefully, I will be able to inspire students to enjoy it at least a little bit.

I know God had a hand in bringing me to this amazing school family. I look forward to fostering an excitement for math this year. Thank you for being wonderful supporters of this fabulous school! God bless

Teacher: Leah Shackelford

Hello! I’m Miss Leah Shackelford. I teach English Language Arts and Social Studies, and I’ve been blessed to be a part of our awesome school since 2011.

I am originally from West Point, MS, and I’ve lived in the Golden Triangle all my life. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Education from the University of Mississippi – Hotty Toddy! I love reading great books, and I hope to help students find books they’ll love to read.

Please visit my website or contact me with any questions or concerns. Thank you for all of your support and for the privilege of teaching your children.

Teacher: Laina Tubb

Hello, my name is Mrs. Tubb! I am the middle school science teacher. I'm from Ocean Springs, MS and I moved to Starkville to attend college. I graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Microbiology. I am currently getting my Master's in the Art of Teaching from William Carey University.

I went to a Catholic School PK-12th grade. I understand the value of a Catholic education, and I am so excited to be an educator at a Catholic school. I am confident in God's plan- that He has me right where He needs me.
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone at ACS and teach young scientists!
