Mrs. Young named Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce Elementary Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Young has taught at Annunciation Catholic School for 8 years. She has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from MS State and a Masters in Education Leadership.
She LOVES teaching first grade because of, "the growth you see in these kids from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. One of my favorite things is teaching them to read and watching a whole other world open up for them."
You are touching student's lives Mrs. Young, and this is such a well deserved honor.
The Chamber will recognize Mrs. Young and all their teachers at an awards ceremony April 25th.
