ACS Jr. Beta Club Awarded at State Conference

The Annunciation Catholic School Junior Beta Club attended the State Beta Competition in February. Students competed in several categories, including singing, math, quiz bowl, cake decorating, art and more.

This is the first time our Beta Club has headed to Biloxi to participate in the State Convention. The students loved attneding the events, and meeting fellow Beta club members from around Mississippi.

Four of our students placed in their prospective categories!

According to their website, Junior Beta Club is a, non-profit, educational youth organization for students 6-8 focused on promoting academic achievement, character, service, and leadership. As part of the National Beta Club, it serves as a "launchpad for leaders" by offering service opportunities, competitive events, and a supportive community for developing skills.

We LOVE seeing our middle schoolers so involved and putting themselves out there at these events. They are coming back excited and confident, and ready to go back and compete again next year! Way to go ACS!
