Staff Spotlight

The ACS Staff Spotlight of the Week is 2nd grade teacher, Jenni Browning! Jenni earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Millsaps College. She has taught various grade levels in public school districts around our state, but second grade is her favorite! This is her 8th year at ACS and 19th year as an educator! She was recently recognized by The Commercial Dispatch for being Among the Best Elementary Teachers.

If you walked into her classroom at any point in the day, you would see a variety of activities taking place. From read-a-louds, singing, and collaborative learning to independent work, quiet reading, and movement; her primary goal is to facilitate a loving, creative, and engaging learning environment where all children can succeed.
