Amanda Chaltry, Physical Education
My name is Amanda Chaltry, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Mississippi University for Women. I am a proud mom of five children, four girls and one boy. My oldest daughter is an ACS alumna and now attends Mississippi University for Women. This year, my other four children are excited to be attending ACS in 8th grade, 5th grade, 2nd grade, and Pre-K4.
As both a parent and teacher, I understand the importance of creating a positive, encouraging environment where every child feels valued. My goal in P.E. is to help every student, from our youngest learners to middle schoolers, develop a love for being active. Through fun games, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence-building activities, I strive to help students grow both physically and personally.
I believe our bodies are a gift from God, and caring for them through movement and healthy habits is an important part of life. I am excited to partner with you and your family, and I look forward to a wonderful school year!
