Tracy Ferraez, Middle School Religion, 8th Grade Biology
Hello to you all! My name is Tracy Ferraez. I am starting my 16th year at ACS with great appreciation for this wonderful #unicorn school. Before I came to work here, I was involved as a parent. My children have all attended school here, and if these walls could talk, what a story they would tell! I am looking forward to teaching Middle School Religion and 8th Grade Biology this year, as well as doing some inclusion for students with accommodation plans.
Here is a little of my background. Although I was born in Indiana, my parents are both from Mississippi. My father was born in Greenville, and my mother was born in Vicksburg. After high school, I moved to Starkville to attend MSU where I earned a BA in Business Administration. In my early forties, I decided that I wanted to change careers, so I went back to school and got a BS in Elementary Education. Two years ago, I completed my Masters in Special Education.
My husband Douglas and I live in New Hope. Together we have 6 children who are all grown up. My youngest daughter graduated high school in May and will be gone very soon. With all of my newfound freedom, I look forward to devoting myself to your children. This year is going to be a blast!
