Lauren Young, Assistant Principal

My name is Lauren Young, and I am so excited to be stepping fully into the role of Assistant Principal this upcoming school year! Just a little about me—I am a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Starkville.  I graduated from Mississippi State University in May 2016 (Hail State!). I also received my master’s degree from Arkansas State University in Educational Leadership in December 2020. My husband’s name is Jesse, and we will be married for five years this October. We have two sons named Collins and Miles.

This school year will be my tenth year at Annunciation Catholic School. It truly is a family here, and I am so happy to be a part of it! I have taught second grade for four years, and I have taught first grade for five years.For those of you who are new to ACS, get ready for a great year! This school is so special, and I am so glad that you made the decision to be a part of our school family.
