Hi! My name is Marsha Mitchell and I am the Physical Education teacher at Annunciation Catholic School. I am married to Jason and we are blessed with a wonderful daughter, Madison Grace. I am a 2005 graduate of Mississippi University for Women, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an add-on in Health Education. After graduation, I was given an opportunity to teach at Annunciation Catholic School in January after graduating in December. The door then opened up for me to take a position at MSMS as Coordinator of Student Activities and as the soccer coach. Still in search of that one place that made me feel at home, I then received a position at Lamar County High School in Vernon, AL, where I taught PE and coached volleyball and basketball for two years. I have had lots of experience, but in my eyes God had bigger plans for me as he opened the door for me once again to teach at ACS. I finally found my school home, where we are a family and a team for Jesus Christ. I have been at ACS since 2009 and love teaching PE to my wonderful students. I love my job and the wonderful people that I work with on a day to day basis. God knew what he was doing when he placed me at ACS to make a difference.
