Hello, my name is Nichole Cancellare, and it is an honor to be a part of the faculty at Annunciation Catholic School as an educator. I have been part of the ACS family for eight years as a parent. I began volunteering as a library assistant, then continued as the school garden coordinator for the past six years, and finally as the chess club coach for the past three years. I am also a parishioner at Annunciation Catholic Church and part of the Catholic community at Columbus AFB.
I am from Sacramento, CA, though I have lived all over the United States and abroad. I attended Cornell University, where I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Atmospheric Sciences. I spent the next seven years in the Air Force as a weather officer. I received my MBA from the University of Arizona. I recently completed my second Bachelor’s of Science in Culinary Arts from the Mississippi University for Women and am now a licensed chef. I have experience teaching students culinary skills at various summer camps as well as here at ACS as a volunteer. I am also a volunteer Master Gardener with the Lowndes Country Extension Office.
I’m excited to integrate expertise from across the STREAM components to enable our students to solve real world problems and succeed in life. I look forward to an amazing school year with many opportunities to learn and find inspiration to fulfill our roles as disciples.
